Create some content

Wordpress also comes with some default settings and types of content, a good deal more than Drupal in fact. The default content types out of the box are - posts and pages. Go ahead and recreate the posts and pages you want to keep (not the dummy ones) from your Drupal site in this new Wordpress one.

You can paste html directly if you select the text tab in the top right of the text editor.
